Hydro-Jetting a cost effective temporary fix to the complete pipe replacement or lining. Hydro-jett pipe cleaning uses high velocity water pressure to literally blast away years of accumulated scale, silt, sand, and grease build-up on the inside walls of your pipes.
Hydro-jetting has the power to burst open the toughest blockages and at the same time scours the full diameter of the pipe, flushing debris and leaving lines clear. Short of replacing or relining your pipes, hydro-jetting is the most efficient way to clear pipes of blockages without damage to the surrounding area and infrastructure.
Hydro-jetters use heavy-duty power nozzles attached to powerful hoses and high-pressure water, much like, but more powerful than, a fire hose. The high pressure water in a hydro-jetter literally pushes debris out of the pipes, either breaking it into small pieces or by moving it toward a larger area of the pipe where it can be broken up. Grease and root intrusion are usually the reasons for such blockages.
Hydro jetting is done through an existing external clean-out. A clean-out is an access point used to easily enter your sewer line Due to the back splash and dirty equipment we won't hydro jet form inside the home.
Using a tow-behind, 50hp jetter and a selection of special tips, we can get just about anything out of your sewer pipe.
We also use the TV Inspection camera along side the hydro jet to make sure we get the pipe clean.
Hydro jetting machines come in different sizes, small and large.
Some companies will charge you less they for a hydro jet service and this usually means they are using a small hydro jet which is intended for the smaller kitchen and bathroom pipes. Because it is smaller it doesn't have the capacity to remove all the roots in the sewer pipe like the large hydro jet.
The large hydro jet, tow behind 50hp, is most effective on the larger sewer pipes. It costs more than the smaller machine but it packs a bigger punch and gets the job done right.
While both hydro jetting and snaking/ rootering the sewer pipe can be effective to clear clogs and improve drainage, snaking/rootering does not have the ability to clear the grease and minerals build-up on pipe.
Snaking is done with an auger with a coil cable and clears a path in the pipe to improve drainage and flow.
Hydro Jetting uses high pressure water up to 8000psi and clears roots, grease and other debris, like rocks, out of the pipe. Leaving the pipe clean and clear preparing the pipe for Cured In Place Pipe Lining
